Just to have it on the forum ;D
Name - GlobalWarming Race - Nephilim Class - Fighter Prof - Warlock Starting Runes: Take 5 points out of Dex, Int, and Spr. Hero’s Strength, Warlord’s Page, take 2 points out of Con to take Healthy as an Ox. Take 4 points out of str/con to take Sellsword.
In-Game Runes: Strength of the Gods (+40), Incredible Constitution (+20), Bounty Hunter. Master of Greatswords Max out str and con, and apply the runes for each. Add the final two points to int to get a few more trains into sword, greatsword, and parry.
Final Stats at Lvl 75: Str – 190 Dex – 5 Con – 130 Int – 52 Spr – 20
Skills: Sword – Gold Greatsword Mastery –Gold Parry – Gold Medium Armor – 100% Warlockry – 61%
Mind and Body One – GM Battlemind – GM Psychic Shield – GM Break Enchantment – GM Mind Snare – GM Ignore the Old Order – 36 trains Psychic Heal – 1 train Surpass Limits – 1 train Psychic Shout – 1 train Dull the Body – 1 train Dull the Mind – 1 train
I decided to put my last trains into the holy resist buff (i had 36 left) for a +46 single target holy resist. Nephilims have a natural -15 holy resist, so this seemed like the way to go. There aren't really any other options. I suppose you could train Dull the Mind, but the diifference between lvl 1 & 36 didn't seem worth the trains.
Warlocks get GM sword powers, and lvl 20 greatsword. While the ideal weapon for this char is a Peerless Gothic Great Sword of Dispatch, I haven’t been able to roll any weapons, so I’m using a Masterwork Gothic Great Sword of Dispatch atm. With Battlemind and this weapon, the attack speed is ricidulous for a 2handed sword. The Dps is great, and you have a -60% snare to use if anything tries to get away. With 4/4/2 MA (infernal chain looks cool on neph, or warlock munitions armor) and a +75 Damage Absorber, most melees have trouble getting through those resists. You also have a str / con self buff for +25, and at level 75 I have 4k hp with priest buffs. An obvious advantage to choosing Nephilim is the natural flight. This gives you speed and the ability to fly up to casters and keep swinging your sword. This toon is a lot of fun just because it’s something different, and it is surprisingly viable. It's also a little funny to see a giant nephilim in armor.
This character can farm and carry 570 weight ; you just have to watch your stamina once in a while.
I don’t have this jewelry yet, but the preferred stuff would be:
+10str/+10con/+30% stam recov Rings (x2) +10str/+10con/+30% stam recov Necklace
These would also be nice to have: +str +stam gloves (and resists if possible) +15% movement +stam boots (and resists if possible) 4/4/2 chest, sleeves, legs
I'm almost exactly at 4k hp and 500 stam with priest buffs, and with the jewelry and armor I need those numbers should go up a bit.
